The Making Of

When everyone was ready, the camera began to roll.

Action!

Lois directs the action, and Susan watches the monitor while Julius rolls the camera.

And, of course, Kevin captures the sound.

The scenes were short and well prepared for, so we got done pretty fast. The crew proceeded back to the hotel, freshened up, and went to eat. To wrap up the filming in California, we got back on to the light rail, did a little more recording in downtown San Jose, and called it a day.

Edward sticks close to Julius to learn camera operation…

… then tries out his new skills for a crosswalk/biking scene.

We had to say good-bye to our San Jose High Academy friends. Hopefully we'll stay in touch with them.

Ms. Sattler interviews San Jose High Academy students Janet, Vaughn and Justin.

For dinner, Mittsy arranged for us to ride out to San Francisco. We spent the rest of the evening there. We rode the trolley car and saw sea lions! Tomorrow we go back to Wisconsin.
