The Making Of

The way the whole day ran was very interesting. We were all just going with the flow of things. The crew also got the opportunity to tour the school. It was a very huge school and the students were polite. For lunch we bought McDonalds, and ate in the air- conditioned school.

JMHS students wait for the action to start.

Rob Means shows off the Zap electric scooter and bike. Everybody wants to try it…

Ms. Sattler goes for a spin on the scooter…

Then Janet, another of our San Jose High Academy student liaisons, gives it a whirl…

Sandy Schwarer, our partner teacher at San Jose High Academy, opts for a cruise on the bike…

And Vaughn, our third San Jose High Academy student liaison follows Ms. Schwarer's lead.

After lunch, the limo picked us up, and we were off to San Juan Bautista. It took an hour to get there from San Jose. The town is beautiful. The hotel was very intriguing. There were open steps and wooden rails. Instead of an ordinary tub in the bathroom, there was a whirlpool!

To wind up the day, we dined at a Mexican restaurant. We ate taco salad, enchiladas, tamales and more.

Tomorrow, we will get an exciting tour of Corbin Motors in Hollister. We will get to check out the Sparrows and other electric vehicles that they make.

Keith Bierman and his Corbin Sparrow give us a preview of tomorrow's adventure.

It's too bad that Marquita's grandmother is sick and she couldn't come. We wish she was here - she's missing out on some good experiences.
